I developed this chess application in C# using WPF over the course of 4 months. It offers a rich set of features and provides a great experience for both beginners and advanced players.

Key features:

• Multiple Battle Modes:

  • Player vs Player (PVP) — play against a friend on the same computer

  • Player vs Machine (PVM) — challenge the AI opponent with adjustable difficulty levels from 1 to 5

• Various Board Modes that change the starting layout of pieces, making the game more interesting:

  • Classic — standard chess setup

  • BackToBase — a unique arrangement for fresh challenges

  • FierceBattle — an aggressive piece placement for intense gameplay

• Undo move functionality to easily correct mistakes and learn from them

• Save and load game states to continue your match anytime

• Customizable board colors for a personalized experience

• Achievement system to keep you motivated and engaged

• Intuitive and modern user interface suitable for all skill levels
